England add Chris Woakes to one-day international squad

England have called up Chris Woakes for the one-day international series in Australia.

The 24-year-old Wawrickshire all-rounder, who made his Test debut against the Aussies last summer, will link up with Ashley Giles's squad ahead of the first match on January 12.

"Chris Woakes has been added to the England ODI squad and will join up with the team in Melbourne," the EBC posted on their official Twitter feed.

Woakes, who also made his ODI debut against Australia in 2011, took one wicket and scored 17 not out in the fifth Ashes Test at The Oval.
