Alastair Cook, Kevin Pietersen equal England record

Alastair Cook and Kevin Pietersen have equalled the most number of centuries scored for England in Test cricket.

Both recorded their 22nd Test hundreds on the third day of the second Test match against India in Mumbai. Cook eventually fell for 122 runs.

The duo join Wally Hammond, Colin Cowdrey and Geoffrey Boycott in the list of England players who have scored that many centuries in Test cricket.

India were all out for 327 runs in their first innings, while England are currently 274-3 with lunch approaching.
