Former player Ian Botham believes England should look to replicate the form which saw the side rise to the top of the ICC Test rankings.

Ian Botham has claimed that England should not change a thing ahead of the Test series with Pakistan.

The former England player believes that Andy Flower's team should be aiming to produce the same form which saw them reach the top of the ICC Test rankings.

Botham told The Mirror: "They have climbed to the top of the tree by coming up with a formula that works for them, and until it stops working they should keep faith with it.

"The right players are in the right positions, they have a captain the whole team wants to follow, and they have quality from top to bottom, so why move away from that?"

England will begin the Test series with Pakistan on Tuesday morning.
