Scott Borthwick only concentrating on Durham

Scott Borthwick has insisted that his sole focus is on Durham following speculation that he is on the verge of an England call-up.

The 26-year-old has shown positive form with the bat in 2016, scoring five first-class centuries.

"It's not up to me. All I can do is keep putting in performances for Durham," he told BBC Sport.

"Hopefully if [a call-up] does come I'll be ready."

Borthwick has made one previous Test appearance for England, which came during the 2013-14 Ashes.
