Ian Bell: Fourth Test is "poised very nicely"

England batsman Ian Bell believes that the fourth Test at Old Trafford is "poised very nicely" after the first two days.

Ian Bell has said that the fourth Test between England and India is "poised very nicely" following the first two days at Old Trafford.

The second day was cut short by rain this afternoon, leaving the hosts 237-6, 85 runs ahead of India's first-innings total.

The batsman told Sky Sports News: "It is poised very nicely. Hopefully tomorrow we can get past a 150 lead, which would put us in a nice position.

"So far it has been a great Test match, probably the best cricket wicket we have had all season, good pace, good to bat on, something there for everyone.

"Hopefully the sun is shining tomorrow and it's good to bat."

Joe Root reached an unbeaten 48 when rain stopped play, while Jos Buttler will resume on 22.
