Jonny Bairstow returns to England from India

Jonny Bairstow has returned to England from India for "family reasons".

The England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed the return of the 23-year-old wicket-keeper on Thursday.

"Jonny Bairstow has gone home today from India tour for family reasons," reads a statement from the ECB.

Bairstow played for the tourists in their second Test match against India, which they won, but was overlooked for England's first Twenty20 international on Thursday that they lost by five wickets.
