Team News: Team News: Alex Hales, Buttler T20 handed England debuts

Nottinghamshire's Alex Hales and Somerset's Jos Butler have been handed their Twenty20 debuts for England against India at Old Trafford this evening.

The young duo are joined by seam bowler Jade Dernbach and spin bowler Samit Patel in the hosts' starting 11.

For the tourists, Rahul Dravid will make his first ever Twenty20 appearance at the age of 38 and pace bowler Praveen Kumar returns from injury.

India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first.
