Ravi Bopara replaces Jonathan Trott

Ravi Bopara has replaced Jonathan Trott in the England squad for the Third test with India at Edgbaston.

Batsman Trott injured his shoulder diving in the field during England's second Test victory at Trent Bridge.

"Ravi Bopara comes in for Jonathan Trott, who is continuing his rehabilitation from his shoulder injury," confirmed national selector Geoff Miller.

Bowler Chris Tremlett has also failed to recover from a back injury that ruled him out of the second Test, with Steven Finn called up in his place.
