Stokes: 'I'm not Andrew Flintoff'

England new boy Ben Stokes has played down comparisons between him and former all-rounder Andrew Flintoff.

The 20-year-old has been called up to England squad take on India in Wednesday's Twenty20 international and upcoming one-day series, leading many to compare him to former England captain Flintoff.

"I am my own person," Stokes told a press conference. "I don't want to base myself on someone else.

"I guess we are the same - we bat and we bowl - but I don't want to base myself on anyone else."

New Zealand-born Stokes has previously represented England under-19s.
