England lose three wickets before lunch but regroup to move on to 80-3.

England have lose three wickets on the first morning of the second Ashes Test match against Australia at Lord's.

It started well for England's captain Alastair Cook, who hit 12 from the first three overs before he was dismissed lbw by Shane Watson in an early bowling change.

Joe Root was next to go as he was also dismissed lbw by Ryan Harris; he decided to review but the video replays backed up the on-field decision.

The morning got even better for Australia and they had their third wicket inside the first six overs with Kevin Pietersen caught by Brad Haddin off Harris.

After the frantic start, Jonathan Trott (34*) and Ian Bell (23*) took England to lunch without further loss, taking them from 28-3 to 80-3.
