Michael Clarke to return from hamstring injury this week

Clarke set for return from injury

Australia head coach Darren Lehmann has confirmed that captain Michael Clarke will make his return from a hamstring injury this week.

Clarke was forced to miss the limited-overs matches against Pakistan due to the problem, and doubts were raised about his availability for the Test series with the same opponents.

However, the 33-year-old has made a full recovery in time to take on Pakistan A in a four-day tour match beginning on Wednesday.

"Clarke will be fine, he'll play the tour game," Lehmann revealed on Cricket Australia's website.

The first Test starts in Dubai next Wednesday.
