Cricket Australia high performance chief Pat Howard believes that the team's problems against spin cannot be solved overnight.
The Aussies suffered their sixth straight defeat on the sub-continent on Monday when they lost by 365 runs to Pakistan in their second Test in Abu Dhabi.
In a bid to improve the team's issues with spin, Howard has revealed that spin pitches have been installed at Australia's training base in Brisbane and external spin coaches will continue to be used.
"All of those things will bring about improvement, but in no way are they an overnight solution," Sky Sports News quotes Howard as saying. "It will take time and hard work.
"To be a great side, we have to be able to win consistently on the road and it's clear that we still struggle to cope with dry sub-continental conditions."
Since 2008, Australia have lost 10 Test matches out of 15 in Asia.
