Peter Siddle expects unchanged Australia

Peter Siddle believes that Australia will name an unchanged side to face England in the second Ashes Test.

Peter Siddle has expressed his belief that Australia will name an unchanged team for the second Ashes Test in Adelaide.

The pace bowler took two wickets as the hosts defeated England by 381 runs in the opening Test of the series in Brisbane.

Siddle claims that Australia coach Darren Lehmann has hinted that the same side will be given an opportunity to establish a 2-0 series lead.

"He spoke about keeping the same side out there and keeping the same bowlers," Clubcall.com quotes Siddle as saying.

"He's the one who makes the decision at the end of the day. I don't think there are going to be much [in the way of] changes.

"Adelaide is always tough. That's the job of playing Test matches there."

The second Test begins on December 5.
