Chris Rogers: 'It's our first bad day'

Australia batsman Chris Rogers refused to feel too downbeat after England seized the initiative in the fourth Ashes Test match in Melbourne.

The tourists ended day two with a 91-run advantage as they look to restore some pride against Michael Clarke's side, but Rogers has insisted that it was their first bad day in an otherwise one-sided series.

The 36-year-old told Sky Sports News: "We've had one bad day in this series. I think that we have been fantastic almost every day.

"It had to happen. England had to fight back strong, and it's up to us to respond tomorrow."

Rogers produced an impressive innings of 61 on Friday, despite Australia falling to 164-9.
