Team GB's Nicola Adams crushes Stoyka Petrova

Team GB's Nicola Adams has produced a dominant display to book her place in the last four at the expense of Bulgaria's Stoyka Petrova.

Adams began well and was firing speedy combinations at Petrova, who was struggling to deal with the Brit's intensity.

The Bulgarian came forward in the second round but found that Adams was equally adept on the back foot.

Adams began to really open up at the beginning of the third, forcing Petrova to backpedal as she was bombarded by a number of shots.

The judges rewarded Adams's superiority with a 16-7 verdict.
