Hello and welcome to Sports Mole's live text commentary of day nine of the Olympic boxing.

The women take centre stage in today's afternoon session, which features Team GB's Natasha Jonas. She takes on Quanita Underwood of the United States at around 2.30pm.

The evening session sees the first of the men's quarter-finals taking place in the bantamweight division, with Luke Campbell stepping into the ring with Bulgaria's Detelin Dalakliev for a place in the last four.

Eight heavyweights will also be battling for a guaranteed medal.

Please note that the action gets underway at 1.30pm.
