GB's Adams wins flyweight gold in Baku

Great Britain's Nicola Adams has won flyweight gold after defeating Sandra Dabik of Poland by a split decision at the European Games in Baku.

Adams and Drabik exchanged good punches in the opening round with both women starting furiously. Two judges awarded Adams the round, with the third awarding it to Drabik.

Again, both boxers hit their mark quickly in the second round but this time Adams was awarded the round by all three judges.

Adams was happy just to sit back and let Drabik chase her in the third, while looking for the counter punch. All three judges awarded her the round.

Drabik started furiously in the fourth and actually knocked Adams down but the referee deemed it a slip. Drabik was then awarded the round by all three judges.

Adams adds the medal her Olympic Games gold.
