Great Britain boxer Sandy Ryan qualifies for light welterweight semi-final

Team GB boxer Sandy Ryan has progressed to the women's light welterweight semi-final at the European Games.

The 21-year-old defeated Azerbaijan's Elena Vystropova on points after winning the final three rounds.

Vystropova took the lead in the first round, but Ryan was dominant from the second round onwards.

She will fight the Russian Federation's Anastasiia Beliakova on Thursday.
