David Price continues comeback trail against Yaroslav Zavorotnyi

British heavyweight David Price records his third win of 2014 with a comfortable points victory over Yaroslav Zavorotnyi.

British heavyweight David Price has defeated Yaroslav Zavorotnyi by unanimous decision in their 10-round contest in Germany.

Price is looking to rebuild his career after successive defeats to Tony Thompson in 2013, but the Liverpudlian will be feeling more positive about his future after a third success in under five months

The 30-year-old had only been able to get four rounds under his belt since the turn of the year, but his Ukrainian opponent, while limited in ability, took him 10 rounds for the first time in his career.

The three judges scored the fight 97-93, 98-92 and 100-90 all in favour of Price, who will likely return to Liverpool in the autumn for a showdown with an opponent ranked inside the world's top 10.
