Ogogo stops Reed in fifth round

British middleweight Anthony Ogogo has stopped Wayne Reed in the fifth round to extend his unbeaten record to seven fights.

The London 2012 bronze medallist had his opponent down in the opening 30 seconds of the bout, but Reed dug in deep to make the end of the round.

However, despite being completely outclassed, Reed continued to fight back before Ogogo unloaded with a sustained barrage of punches in the penultimate round to bring a halt to the contest.

The 25-year-old is expected back in the ring on the undercard of Kell Brook's IBF welterweight clash with Shawn Porter on August 16.
