Anthony Joshua stops Michael Sprott in 88 seconds

Olympic champion Anthony Joshua stops Michael Sprott in 88 seconds to record his 10th straight win.

Anthony Joshua took just 88 seconds to maintain his perfect professional record with a stoppage of Michael Sprott in Liverpool.

The former British heavyweight champion was billed as a possible test for the London 2012 gold medallist.

However, it quickly became apparent that the 39-year-old opponent would pose little challenge to Joshua and the 25-year-old's combinations proved too much for Sprott as the referee stepped in during the first round.

It completes a 10th consecutive win for Joshua and means that none of his opponents have taken him the distance.

After the bout, promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that the Olympic champion is set to fight Kevin Johnson in January.
