Rocky Fielding has blasted Mohammed Akrong out in just over a minute to win the vacant Commonwealth super middleweight strap at the Olympia.
The 26-year-old takes over from the reign of George Groves, who vacated the belt last month after agreeing to a world title fight with Carl Froch.
Fielding went to work with the jab straight away and dropped the Ghanaian with a left hook timed to perfection in the opening couple of seconds.
Akrong, who had stepped in at two weeks' notice following an injury to Tony Dodson, got up but that only delayed the inevitable, as the Liverpool fighter put the 30-year-old out of his misery in clinical fashion.
The fight lasted one minute and five seconds in total.
