Chris Eubank Jr destroys Ivan Jukic with first-round stoppage

British middleweight Chris Eubank Jr produced a devastating performance to stop Ivan Jukic in the first round at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester.

The 24-year-old is seen as one of the rising stars of British boxing and he wasted little time in recording his 17th successive victory in the paid ranks.

The son of Chris Eubank Sr pummelled Jukic from the first bell and, after twice flooring his Croatian opponent, the referee rightly called off the contest.

After the match, Eubank Jr stated that he wanted to face Billy Joe Saunders before the end of the year.
