Dillian Whyte: 'I have beaten up Dereck Chisora in sparring'

Dillian Whyte says that he is looking to knock out Dereck Chisora on December 10 after claiming to have beaten up his rival in previous sparring sessions.

Dillian Whyte has claimed to have beaten up Dereck Chisora in previous sparring sessions between the two British heavyweights.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Whyte would defend his British title against Chisora at the Manchester Arena on December 10, with the bout also acting as an eliminator for the WBC belt.

The two London-based fighters already have history from earlier sparring sessions, and Whyte has said that he got the better of Chisora when he had little experience in a boxing ring.

The 28-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I sparred with him years ago and put the beat down on him then when I had no experience, so probably there's been ill feelings since then.

"I'm not going to say too much before the fight, but I've been sparring Dereck for a while, I've been holding my own, and beating him up for a few years now.

"Times have changed, things have changed. I think this is last-chance saloon for him, so I'm expecting him to come and fight, and for the best Dereck Chisora to show up on December 10 - the best one there has ever been."

Whyte has won 19 of his 20 fights in the professional ranks while former world title challenger Chisora has 26 victories from 32 outings.
