Warren tips Chisora to beat Haye

Frank Warren has predicted that Dereck Chisora will cause a shock and defeat David Haye when the disgraced pair meet on July 14.

Neither fighter currently holds a British boxing licence, as Haye is officially retired and Chisora had his rescinded following the Munich brawl between the bitter rivals in February.

However, the pair are scheduled to meet at Upton Park after the fight was controversially sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation.

"I really fancy Chisora to win the fight," Warren told talkSPORT. "All the rubbish that happened in Germany only served to overlook his performance against Vitali Klitschko.

"He gave Vitali the hardest fight he's had since facing Lennox Lewis all those years ago. Had he had a bit more experience he could have caused an upset. When you look at that against David Haye's performance against Wladamir [Klitschko], they were chalk and cheese."

Many of boxing's leading personalities have spoken of their opposition at the fight. Wladimir Klitschko has labelled it a "a freak show".
