Tony Bellew: 'Mateusz Masternak bout is 50-50'

British cruiserweight Tony Bellew says that his European title clash with Mateusz Masternak is a "50-50" fight.

Tony Bellew has said that Mateusz Masternak will represent his biggest test since he moved up to the cruiserweight division.

The vacant European title will be on the line when Bellew and Masternak meet at London's O2 Arena on Saturday night, and the Liverpudlian has predicted "fireworks" when he faces the Polish fighter.

The 33-year-old told Sky Sports News: "This is my biggest test at cruiserweight without a shadow of a doubt. Hard fight, 50-50 in my opinion, and I've got to go out there and do the business on Saturday.

"Ultimately we will see what I'm about but I believe I'm one of the best cruiserweights in the world, without a shadow of a doubt, and I'll prove that on Saturday night.

"He's got a look in his eye that he means business, but I think he knows when he looks in my eye that I mean business too. I can only lead to one thing and that is hopefully fireworks."

Bellew has won 25 of his 28 bouts in the paid ranks, while Masternak has suffered just three defeats in 39 outings.
