John Ryder insists that he will end Eamonn O'Kane's unbeaten record when the promising middleweights clash at the London Olympia this weekend.

Unbeaten middleweight John Ryder has declared that he is relishing the prospect of settling a score with Eamonn O'Kane and moving closer to a British title shot.

O'Kane has also yet to taste defeat as both men put their unblemished records on the line at the London Olympia this weekend.

Ryder believes that the clash provides the perfect opportunity to prove he belongs at a higher level.

He said: "It is definitely my biggest test yet, by far. Eamonn is a livewire, he is 8-0 but he is 30 now and he has to start getting a move on.

"It is a good match, a good 50-50 fight and I am sure it is one the fans will be excited to see on Sky Sports as it's the ultimate risk-reward fight for both of us.

"I have known he is about and he has called me out a couple of times on Twitter. It is a fight I didn't expect to happen straight away but it is here now so I will take the bull by the horns."

Ryder and O'Kane will provide chief support to a bill topped by Darren Barker's return to action against Kerry Hope in a meeting of former European champions.
