Freddy Roach says that Manny Pacquiao won't retire following his defeat to Juan Manuel Marquez.

Freddie Roach believes that Manny Pacquiao will not retire following his defeat to Juan Manuel Marquez.

The Filipino was knocked out in the sixth round by the Mexican fighter and despite the loss being Pac-Man's second in succession following his defeat to Timothy Bradley in June, Roach believes that he should persevere.

"I don't think this is the end of Manny Pacquiao," said Roach.

"I talked to him before he went to hospital, he knows he made a mistake, he knows he got careless and walked into one. I don't think Manny will [retire]."

The clash between the pair was the fourth time they have fought.
