Brandon Rios: 'Manny Pacquiao picked me because I lost'

Brandon Rios has claimed that Manny Pacquiao has only agreed to fight because he is coming off the back of a loss.

Rios was beaten in a rematch with Mike Alvarado earlier this year, but has agreed to fight former world champion Pacquiao in November.

Pacquiao himself is coming off a couple of losses, but Rios insists that the fight will be tougher than he thinks.

"He picked me because I lost," Rios told the Boston Herald. "They probably think 'Brandon is easy to hit, Brandon gets hit all the time.'

"It's a very different story when you get the in the ring with me, they made a mistake picking me."

Rios is due to fight Pacquiao on November 24th this year.
