Gavin Rees to fight Anthony Crolla in Manchester

Gavin Rees and Anthony Crolla have been signed to fight each other at the MEN Arena on June 29.

The lightweight bout will be chief support for David Haye's heavyweight encounter with Manuel Charr.

Rees, 32, will be returning to the ring for the first time since his defeat to Adrien Broner.

The former WBA light welterweight champion brings a 37-2-1 record to the contest, with his only other defeat coming to Andriy Kotelnik in 2008.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Crolla (25-4-1) battled to a draw in his last outing against Derry Matthews in Liverpool.
