Pacquiao, Marquez make weight

Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez have both made weight ahead of their showdown for the WBO welterweight title on Saturday night.

The fighters, who will meet for the third time this weekend, were both under the 144-pound catchweight limit at Friday's weigh-in in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao, the defending champion, was recorded at 143 pounds, while the challenger Marquez was a pound lighter at 142.

The Mexican and Filipino first met in 2004 in what was determined a draw, before Pacquiao edged a controversial decision in their 2008 rematch.

The champion has announced that he expects this to be their last fight.
