Manny Pacquiao to face Timothy Bradley for second bout

Pacquiao, Bradley rematch on the cards

Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley are likely to come together once again in the ring after five independent judges ruled that the Filipino fighter should have won their initial fight.

Pacquiao's camp were stunned when the 33-year-old lost to the American on a controversial points decision a fortnight ago in Las Vegas.

The World Boxing Organisation called the five-man panel together and has since ruled that Pacquiao should have been named victorious.

"I hope with this ruling the public's faith in boxing would be restored," said Pacquiao. "I was not surprised by the WBO ruling. I knew that I won, so did the whole world. But that is already over and I am now focusing on the next fight."

Judges CJ Ross and Duane Ford scored the fight 115-113 in favour of Bradley on the night while Jerry Roth gave Pacquiao the advantage with a 115-113 score.
