Victor Ortiz has revealed that he is happy to be considered the underdog for his bout with Floyd Mayweather Jnr on Saturday night.
Ortiz puts his WBC welterweight title on the line against Mayweather, who is the undefeated five-division world champion.
The 24-year-old Mexican-American has been installed as the outsider by bookmakers and he is keen to defy the odds this weekend.
"I have nothing to lose. He has everything I want," Ortiz said.
"He's fought some decent guys, but guys who were on their way up or on their way out.
"You can say whatever you want about me, but I've fought some very good guys, in their prime. I've banged with the best."
Mayweather Jnr retired from boxing in May 2010 but has opted to return to fight Ortiz in what will be his first bout for 16 months.
The pair go head-to-head at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
