Floyd Mayweather Jr, Manny Pacquiao tickets sell out in minutes

Tickets for Floyd Mayweather Jr's fight with Manny Pacquiao have sold out within minutes of going on sale.

Only 1,000 tickets were made available for the public, with 15,500 tickets held back for fighters, sponsors and promoters.

The cheapest ticket went on sale on the MGM Grand's website and Ticketmaster at £1,000 with prices rising to £5,000, but tickets were then put on sale on other websites for as much as £47,000.

The bout is set to generate £162m for the two fighters.

Mayweather Jr has won all 47 fights in his career, while Pacquiao has 57 wins, five losses and two draws.
