Floyd Mayweather: 'I will remain the best'

Floyd Mayweather Jr believes that he will prove himself to be pound-for-pound king in his Las Vegas showdown with Manny Pacquiao.

Floyd Mayweather Jr has revealed that he has every confidence that he will extend his unbeaten record to 48 fights with victory over Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night.

The two biggest stars in boxing put their welterweight world titles on the line at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but Mayweather has insisted that he will prove to the worldwide audience that he is the best fighter in the history of the sport.

After Friday's weigh-in, the 38-year-old said: "I believe that with my skills, I'm going to be victorious.

"I don't take anything away from Manny Pacquiao, he's a solid fighter and it will be an intriguing match-up, but after Saturday, I'll still be 'TBE' (The Best Ever)."

The bout is expected to generate revenue in the region of £265m.
