Floyd Mayweather Jr hits out at Manny Pacquiao for shoulder "excuse"?

Mayweather Jr criticises Pacquiao for "excuse"?

Floyd Mayweather Jr appears to have criticised Manny Pacquiao for blaming Saturday night's defeat to the American in Las Vegas on his shoulder injury.

Mayweather Jr extended his undefeated record to 48 fights after sealing a unanimous victory on points at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

After the fight, Pacquiao claimed that he had been struggling with a shoulder injury, which now requires surgery and could keep him out of the ring for almost a year.

On Wednesday morning, Mayweather tweeted: "19 years in the fight game and I've had one excuse: 'Don't have an excuse'. Winners win and losers have excuses."

Meanwhile, Pacquiao reportedly faces a lawsuit after he allegedly failed to disclose his shoulder injury prior to the fight.
