Mikkel Kessler: 'Carl Froch won't stop me'

WBA super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler says that if anyone gets stopped tonight it will be IBF titlist Carl Froch.

WBA super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler has said that Carl Froch will not have enough to stop him in their eagerly-anticipated rematch at the O2 Arena this evening.

The 'Cobra' is looking to avenge his loss in Herning three years ago and has predicted victory by late stoppage.

Kessler was typically dismissive of the comment, stating that if anyone gets stopped it will be the IBF champion.

"I like Carl because he wants to fight and I want to fight too, but I'm ready for 12 rounds," the 34-year-old told Sky Sports News.

"Late stoppage, forget it. That's not going to happen. I'm going to have the late stoppage, if one of us is going to have one."

The Dane has previously lost to Joe Calzaghe and Andre Ward.
