Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko 'to be confirmed next week'

Anthony Joshua will reportedly face Wladimir Klitschko in a £30m superfight in either Manchester or Cardiff on December 10.

The highly-anticipated heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko will be confirmed early next week, according to reports.

The pair have been in negotiations over a mega-fight since Tyson Fury pulled out of his rematch against Klitschko on medical grounds last month.

The Telegraph now reports that the two camps are on the verge of announcing a £30m fight that will take place on December 10.

Joshua's IBF heavyweight title is expected to be on the line, while the WBA and WBO championships could also be up for grabs after they were vacated by Fury earlier this month.

The Manchester Arena and the Principality Stadium in Cardiff are reportedly the two most likely venues, with the O2 Arena in London thought to have been ruled out due to music concerts taking place on December 10 and 17.

Klitschko was heavyweight champion for nine-and-a-half years before losing his belts to Fury in Dusseldorf last year.
