Bernard Hopkins will defend his IBF light-heavyweight title against Karo Murat in October.

Hopkins waa due to fight the German mandatory challenge this month, but American visa problems meant the fight had to be called off.

Golden Boy promotions chief exec Richard Schaefer has now revealed that the fight will take place in the Autumn.

"We've agreed to the fight and the terms and are looking forward to October 19," Schaefer told ESPN.

"I had everything set up and then it fell apart. But we have to do this fight. It's Bernard's mandatory and I am committed to doing it and it will happen."

Hopkins became the oldest world title holder ever at 48 when he won the IBF belt in March.
