Eddie Hearn eyes a Carl Froch, Gennady Golovkin fight

Eddie Hearn is lining up Gennady Golovkin as Carl Froch's next opponent, despite a domestic fight with George Groves still to negotiate next month.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn is already looking past Carl Froch's next fight to a potential bout with Gennady Golovkin.

Froch's November fight with domestic rival George Groves has already captured the public's imagination.

His promoter, though, is already looking at a fight between Froch and the feared middleweight from Kazakhstan.

"I think Carl Froch would fight Golovkin next," Hearn told the Nottingham Post. "I don't think Golovkin is overly keen. That's what I've heard from various sources.

"I think it's a wonderful fight that's going to be pay-per-view in the US and the UK."

Froch takes on Groves in Manchester on November 23.
