Adam Booth says that David Haye is interested in a fight with Tyson Fury, but not before he takes on German heavyweight Manuel Charr.

Adam Booth has said that David Haye will deal with German heavyweight Manuel Charr before thinking about a possible bout with domestic rival Tyson Fury.

Talk of a scrap between the British duo has gathered pace recently, with Fury repeatedly calling out the former WBA titlist on Twitter.

The 24-year-old climbed off the canvas to stop Steve Cunningham in New York last month and is looking to take the next step on his way to a world title tilt.

Meanwhile, Haye was recently forced to pull out of his original engagement with Charr, scheduled for June 29, with a hand injury.

The 32-year-old hopes that the fight can be remade, but Booth said that a dust-up with Fury is a tantalising prospect.

"The plan is Manuel Charr then we will look later on this year," Booth told Sky Sports News. "We are interested in the fight [with Fury] - it's a huge domestic fight in the UK.

"At this moment in time we are just assessing this injury.

"If you look at their ranking in the top 10 of the WBC, it's quite a natural fight in the absence of a world championship, but right now David can't hit a pad, let alone a person, so we just have to wait."

Haye - a former WBC, WBO and WBA Super cruiserweight champion - has won 26 of his 28, with his only defeats coming to Carl Thompson and Wladimir Klitschko.
