David Haye worried by "crazy racists" in Ukraine

Haye reveals death threats

David Haye has revealed that receiving death threats from "crazy racists" will prevent him from fighting in Ukraine.

The 31-year-old is reportedly eager to schedule a bout with Vitali Klitschko next year but claimed that he will not be travelling to his rival's home country.

Haye said: "I've never been to Ukraine but I have heard it's very dangerous for a black man.

"There are crazy racists who have already sent me death threats.

"Germany would be the best and safest place for me to beat Vitali and get out of the stadium alive."

Klitschko's only fight in the Ukraine took place in Kiev in 1998.
