David Haye: 'Fighting Anthony Joshua at Wembley is a possibility'

Former world heavyweight champion David Haye admits that a Wembley fight with Anthony Joshua is a possibility, providing both men can put together a string of wins.

Former world heavyweight champion David Haye has admitted that a Wembley showdown with Anthony Joshua would be "massive".

Since winning gold at London 2012, Joshua has strung together 13 successive victories inside three rounds, and Haye, who held the WBA title between 2009 and 2011, has revealed that he is hopeful that a fight can be made, providing that he makes a successful comeback to the ring.

The 34-year-old told The Sun: "I definitely think an all-British contest will be there for us. Whether it happens or not depends on a lot of stuff. I've got to get back in the ring and he's got to keep winning.

"If we fight each other there would be no other location than Wembley. We're both from London - he's from north and I'm from south and it would be a massive, massive affair."

Haye hasn't fought since stopping Dereck Chisora in five rounds in July 2012.
