Robert Garcia: 'Freddie Roach called me a piece of s***'

Brandon Rios's trainer Robert Garcia has accused Freddie Roach of racism after an alleged foul-mouthed rant at a gym.

Garcia claims that 53-year-old Roach, who trains Manny Pacquiao, had launched a tirade against him.

Quizzed about the incident by ES News, Garcia said: "He called me a piece of shit and he called [an unnamed trainer] a fucking Jew, and a fucking Mexican."

"That guy who won Man of the Year in the Philippines, called me a piece of shit. It's actually sad bro, I feel sorry man.

"[Roach] hates Mexicans, but no, Manny is not a racist. I'm not pissed off at Freddie Roach, he's pissed off at me."

Garcia's fighter Rios squares off against Pacquiao this weekend.
