Tyson Fury to face Alexander Ustinov after Dereck Chisora withdrawal

Fury secures replacement opponent

British heavyweight Tyson Fury has been handed a fight with Belarussian Alexander Ustinov at the Phones4U Arena on Saturday evening.

Fury had been scheduled to face Dereck Chisora in a final eliminator for Wladimir Klitschko's WBO title before his British rival withdrew from the bout with a fractured hand.

A number of names were linked with a match with the 25-year-old, with American duo Tony Thompson and Antonio Tarver quick to put their names into the hat for a fight in Manchester.

However, a deal has been agreed for Fury to go up against 37-year-old Ustinov, who has won 28 of his 29 professional encounters, 21 of which have come inside the distance.

Ustinov's one defeat came by 11th-round stoppage against Kubrat Pulev, who will attempt to dethrone unified titlist Klitschko when they meet in September.
