Carl Froch has insisted that he will not take the challenge of Yusaf Mack lightly when the two face each other in Nottingham next month.
The IBF super-middleweight champion is expected to easily defend his title against Mack but the 35-year-old is aware that his opponent will be at the peak of his powers on November 17.
Froch told Sky Sports News: "No, that would be very unprofessional for me to think Yusaf Mack is a walkover.
"Tavoris Cloud, his last loss was for the IBF light-heavyweight title. I've had a look at that fight a couple of times and for the first five or six rounds he was winning the fight. He was winning every round and then he got caught by a shot.
"However you have seen him in the past, he's going to be 20% better than what he has been previously. So I need to take him seriously."
James DeGale has announced his intention to fight Froch next year.
