Carl Froch believes that David Haye's recent defeat to Wladimir Klitschko could be the British heavyweight's last appearance as a boxer.

WBC super-middleweight champion Carl Froch does not expect to see David Haye fight again.

Haye has said in the past that he would retire from boxing on his 31st birthday in October, but Froch believes that the British heavyweight may have fought his last bout.

Froch met up with Haye while on holiday in Jamaica and got the impression that Haye's recent defeat to Wladimir Klitschko could be his last appearance.

"I had a nice five-hour tour of the island with David Haye. I don't think he is going to fight on," Froch told the Daily Star.

"He didn't give me a definitive answer but listening to him, it doesn't really sound like it. He wanted to go out on a better note.

"Whether he will fight again, personally I don't think he will."

Froch is currently preparing for his fight against American Andre Adams in the final of the Super Six tournament in October.
