Carl Frampton, Scott Quigg both make check-weight

Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg both successfully make the check-weight ahead of Saturday night's super-bantamweight unification clash in Manchester.

Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg have both completed their check-weight obligations ahead of their super-bantamweight unification clash on Saturday night.

On Friday, both IBF champion Frampton and WBA title holder Quigg weighed in comfortably below the limit of 122lbs, but under IBF rules, they are unable to put any more than 10lbs on before the morning of the fight.

However, the British duo had no issues with ensuring that the huge showdown - which has been five years in the making - will go ahead as planned.

Frampton is unbeaten in 21 fights as a professional, while Quigg has recorded 31 victories and two draws in 33 bouts in the paid ranks.
