Bellew stopped Valery Brudov in his cruiserweight debut on Saturday evening to move closer to an opportunity to compete for a world title, but American boxer Flores believes that he would easily see off the Liverpudlian.
The 35-year-old is quoted by World Boxing News as saying: "Tony is a good fighter, and he was pretty good at light heavyweight.
"He is a decent boxer with good style. I think that is why people like him and he has a good following.
"But in all honesty, he wouldn't go 12 rounds with me. One thing that you can't teach is chin, and the Brudov fight showed that Bellew can be hurt, although it will be exciting while it lasts."
Flores has lost just once in 30 encounters, while Bellew has a professional record of 21 wins in 24 bouts.
