Chisora applies for new licence

Dereck Chisora has decided to apply for a new licence with the British Boxing Board of Control.

The heavyweight was stripped of his licence following a post-fight brawl with David Haye in Hamburg last year.

The Daily Mail reports that the 29-year-old is aiming to be on the undercard for George Groves's next fight against Mohamed Ali Ndiaye, for which the date has yet to be set.

Chisora has since acquired a licence from the Luxembourg Boxing Federation for his clash with Haye last June.

The BBBoC set no fixed term before Chisora could reapply for a licence.
